Yes, I'm still alive.  My artistic endeavors have been largely dance related for the past year or more, although I do have a few visual-art related ideas stewing in my brain. Hopefully I'll get to work on those soon.

I recently rebuilt my website. You can check out the new design at www.lunascura.com.

I'm also in progress on a costume design for a member of my belly dance troupe.  You can get updates on that at artyouglad.wordpress.com.

See ya later!

Thanks for the New fav. Were you able to see it in Snow Hill last month. How have you been? Its feels like it has been forever. Hope all is well.

I didn't get to see it in Snow Hill, I'm afraid. I haven't been doing a very good job keeping up on the art scene. I'm kind of buried in the belly dance scene now. I'm running a nonprofit dance troupe...and also just started a new job.

life is crazy!

Best,

Its fine, I'm sure that I'll have other shows. The belly Dancing scene, do you get alot of people out on the eastern shore. It sounds like you are doing well.

There's a ton of bellydance going down on the Eastern Shore. Just had a huge belly dance festival at the Carousel in OC last month. Hundreds of dancers from all over MD, DE, VA, PA and beyond. We've got at least two monthly dance shows going on in Delaware. And there are two belly dance troupes local to Salisbury. Plus we just had a new teacher move into the area, so now we've got classes in Egyptian, Turkish and American Tribal style belly dance. It's awesome.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but lately I've discovered that a ridiculous number of the bellydancers I know are also visual artists in some capacity, many of them professionally. I guess we're all creativity junkies...
