I'm not around here much anymore.

Life has gotten complicated and hasn't left me much time or energy for creating my own art.

The majority of my art in the past two years has been of the performance variety. I am currently president of Arabian Lights Dance Company and I spend the majority of my free time practicing and performing Middle Eastern Dance. (I also built the website.)

I have made a few nifty costumes in recent times, but have little time to photograph them and post the images.

I'm currently working on hand-beading a belly dance costume and I will likely have Yule cards to design and send for the holidays. You can hope for them.

I look back at my past deviations, particularly the tarot cards, and wish I had hours and hours to spend in Photoshop like I used to. I have ideas for more cards in the series...just not enough hours in the day.

Amusingly, the one deviation that seems to get the most attention anymore is my wedding cake, particularly now that Halloween is creeping up on us and folks are searching for pumpkin-themed art.
